The STRENGTH consortium had the privilege of taking part in the #GeNeMe2024 conference on “Communities in New Media” at the Fachhochschule Dresden (FHD) in Dresden.
With our European partners from Austria, Slovenia and Germany, we ran a workshop on our #STRENGTH project for professionals and doctoral students in the fields of education and training. The Erasmus+ STRENGTH project offers digital learning opportunities to women with a migrant background who have a beginner level in the language of their new country of residence and face educational disadvantages.
At the workshop, we presented our pedagogical approach, didactic material and online exercises on how to empower the target group’s socio-professional integration.
All partners will also present the STRENGTH project in their respective countries during the month of October. In this way local training centers and NGOs working in the field of social and professional inclusion of women with migration background can benefit from the project results and use them in their daily practice.
This will be an opportunity to get together for networking and exchanging about our respective activities and structures … and to learn from each other!
